Israeli forces struck southern Beirut on Sunday, marking their third attack since the November ceasefire.
The assault, targeting the Dahiyeh suburbs, was followed by an Israeli army order demanding that residents evacuate immediately.
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported Israeli drones overhead, and smoke was seen rising across the capital.
Panic spread as residents fled through heavy traffic, fearing further escalation.
