Gaza’s in the spotlight at the world’s biggest film festival.
On the opening day of Cannes, French actress Juliette Binoche has paid tribute to Palestinian photojournalist Fatima Hassouna.
The 25-year-old was killed in an Israeli air strike on Gaza last month.
A day before, Fatima learned a documentary she features in will premiere at Cannes.
Movie stars from around the world gathered in Cannes for the opening of the film festival.
But they were not the only ones in the spotlight, politics also played a starring role.
