DRC refugees in Burundi endure dire conditions after fleeing M23 rebels

In the past month alone, more than 60,000 people have fled from the Democratic Republic of Congo to Burundi, seeking refuge from the advancing M23 rebel group. Many have risked their lives to escape the violence, only to find themselves in dire conditions. Makeshift refugee camps offer little in terms of shelter, sanitation, or basic necessities.
