Arkansas State Representative and civil rights attorney John Walker was detained while filming a police traffic stop in his own district. What began as a lawful act of public observation quickly escalated when officers approached Walker, confronted him, and even accused him of being a “race baiter” — all captured on body camera.Walker was eventually handcuffed and charged with obstructing governmental operations, despite standing on the sidewalk and repeatedly stating he was only recording.
