The Denver Nuggets defeated the Miami Heat 122–112 behind another dominant performance from Nikola Jokić.
The reigning MVP posted a monster triple-double with 33 points, 15 rebounds, and 16 assists on 12-of-18 shooting. Aaron Gordon added 24 points on 9-of-16 from the field along with six rebounds, while Tim Hardaway Jr. chipped in 18 points, including four made threes, to help secure the win.
For Miami, Norman Powell led the team with 23 points and four three-pointers, while Andrew Wiggins contributed 22 points on an efficient 9-of-13 shooting with four rebounds and five assists. Jaime Jaquez Jr. also delivered a strong performance, scoring 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting.
With the victory, Denver improves to 5–2 on the season, while Miami drops to 4–4.
