Philippines hit hard by Typhoon Co-May, dozens killed in flooding

Typhoon Co-May has left a trail of devastation across the Philippines, making landfall in the country’s northwestern region. Torrential rains and strong winds have battered towns and cities, damaging homes, roads, and farmland. The storm comes after a week of monsoon rains that had already caused widespread flooding. At least 25 people have been reported dead , with rescue operations ongoing and thousands displaced.
